Collecting payments from pet owners directly with DirectPay
Pet sitters can specify to get payments directly from the pet owners with DirectPay. By manually collecting payments outside of the app, pet sitters can eliminate any fees around credit card processing. You will keep 100% of the payment from your clients.
- On the left navigation menu, press User Settings.
- On the User Settings page, make sure that the Display Pet Sitter Menu Items is set to ON.
- On the left navigation menu, find and press Receive Payments.
- Select DirectPay.
ⓘ The methods of payment you accept can be specified by pressing the Pet Sitter Profile on the left navigation menu and selecting the Accepted Payment Methods tab. You can specify cash, check, etc. Pet owners will be able to see your accepted methods of payment when they book a service from you.
