Creating a promotion code

Leverage Cloudy's built-in tools to create custom promotion codes. Implement smart strategies to attract pet sitting clients and foster loyalty: use promotion codes to incentivize new bookings or use them as service credits instead of monetary refunds to boost customer retention. This feature helps expand your reach and grow your independent pet care business.

1. Press the Create or Manage Promotion Codes on the left navigation menu.
2. On the Promotion Codes page, press the Add New Promotion Code button.
3. Enter the name of the promotion code in the Promotion Code field.
4. Enter the description in the Description field for your reference.
5. Enter how much discount will be given in the Promotion Discount Amount field.
6. Optionally, enter an amount in the Minimum Booking Price field. This requires the customer's total booking cost to meet this minimum before the promotion code can be applied, safeguarding your earnings on discounted services.
7. Optionally, enter a number in the Max Number of Times Redeemable field to limit the total number of times this promotion code can be redeemed across all bookings. If left blank, the code can be used an unlimited number of times.
8. Optionally, use the Start Date and End Date fields to define the period when this promotion code is active. Pet owners can only redeem the code within this specified date range.
9. Optionally, enter a number of days here. If set, this promotion code will only apply to services scheduled to occur within this number of days after the booking creation date.
10. Optionally, enable the Can Be Combined With Other Promotions setting. If enabled (set to true), this promotion code can be combined with other promo codes on the same booking.
