A pet sitting meet and greet is a scheduled meeting between a pet owner and their pet sitter. The goal of the meet and greet is to help the pet owner and sitter get to know each other and establish trust.
Meet and greets usually take place at the location where the service is performed. For example, for the drop-in visit service, meet and greet takes place at the pet owner's home. The dog-boarding service takes place at pet sitter's home.
As a pet owner, you can request a meet and greet meeting to the pet sitter when you schedule a pet-sitting service on the Cloudy app. After you and the pet sitter had a meet and greet and if you decided to move forward with the pet sitter, please press the Proceed button on the Meet and Greet tab of the booking page. Pressing the Proceed button is very important especially if the pet sitter specifies Stripe Connect as the method of payment and you pay the pet sitter with your credit card. To prevent the pet sitter from start charging against your credit card, the pet sitter will not be able to accept the booking until the Proceed button is pressed. You will not be charged any cancellation fee when you cancel a booking before it is accepted.
