This privacy policy discloses how Cloudy PetCare app and website by AZ Global LLC ("Cloudy," "app," "AZ," "we," or "us") collects and uses your personal information. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by Cloudy to provide our services ("Cloudy Services)" to you.

How We Collect Information

Information You Provide

When you interact with Cloudy Services, we collect information that you provide to us. For example, most of our services require you to set up a Cloudy account, and we need to collect a few important details about you, such as your name, username, password, email address, and your postal code. We may also ask you to provide us with some additional information that will be publicly visible on our services, such as a profile picture or if you are a service provider, what pet care services you provide. We may also require you to provide us with a debit or credit card number and its associated account information.

When you are asked to provide information, you may decline. But if you choose not to provide information that is necessary for certain products or features, those products or features may not be available or function correctly.

When you contact customer support or communicate with us in any other way, we’ll collect whatever information you volunteer or that we need to resolve your question.

Information We Get When You Use Our Services

When you use our services, we collect information about which of those services you’ve used and how you’ve used them.

• Usage Information. We collect information about your activity through Cloudy Services. For example, we may collect information about:
  • how you interact with our services, such as when and with whom you scheduled a pet care service, what types of pets you have, or how much you've earned through the service.
  • how you communicate with other Cloudy users, such as their names, the time and date of your communications, the number of messages you exchanged within the Cloudy app or websites.
• Content Information. We collect content you create on our services, such as your user profile and pictures you upload through the Cloudy Services.
• Device Information. We collect information from and about the devices you use. For example, we collect:
  • information about your hardware and software, such as the hardware model, operating system version, device memory, advertising identifiers, unique application identifiers, apps installed, unique device identifiers, browser type, keyboards installed, language, battery level, and time zone;
  • information from device sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, compasses, microphones, and whether you have headphones connected; and
  • information about your wireless and mobile network connections, such as mobile phone number, service provider, IP address, and signal strength.
• Camera and Photos. Many of our services require us to collect images and other information from your device’s camera and photos. For example, you won’t be able to upload your profile picture from your camera roll unless we can access your camera or photos.
• Location Information. When you use our services we may collect information about your location. With your permission, we may also collect information about your precise location using methods that include GPS, wireless networks, cell towers, Wi-Fi access points, and other sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, and compasses.
• Payment and Tax Information. When you use our services we may collect payment information you provide to us, such as the amount and type of services purchased, the date and time of a transaction, and payment card information. (Payment card transactions are processed by our third-party payment processors.)
  • If you are a Service Provider, we and our third-party payment processors may also collect certain payment disbursement information to distribute your revenue earned through the Cloudy Service.
  • If you are a Service Provider, we may also collect your tax identification number.
• Identification Information. If you are a Service Provider, we may collect certain personal information from you for purposes of verifying your identity or assisting with your creation of a Stripe payment account (if Stripe is available in your region). In addition, our third-party background check provider collects your social security or social insurance number to conduct a background check.
• Information Collected by Cookies and Other Technologies. Like most online services and mobile applications, we may use cookies and other technologies, such as web beacons, web storage, and unique advertising identifiers, to collect information about your activity, browser, and device. We may also use these technologies to collect information when you interact with services we offer through one of our partners, such as advertising and commerce features. For example, we may use information collected on other websites to show you more relevant ads. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually remove or reject browser cookies through the settings on your browser or device. Keep in mind, though, that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the availability and functionality of our services. • Log Information. We also collect log information when you use our website, such as:
  • details about how you’ve used our services;
  • device information, such as your web browser type and language;
  • access times;
  • pages viewed;
  • IP address;
  • identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser; and
  • pages you visited before or after navigating to our website.
• Other Information. We may collect other personal information you provide to us, such as when you submit a job application, participate in a promotion, complete a survey, communicate with us via third party social media sites, request customer support, provide us with contact information for a referral, or otherwise communicate with us.

Information We Collect from Third Parties

We may collect information about you from other users, our affiliates, and third parties. Here are a few examples:

• Advertisers, app developers, publishers, and other third parties may share information with us as well. We may use this information, among other ways, to help target or measure the performance of ads. You can learn more about our use of this kind of third-party data in our Support Center.

How We Use Information

We use information in folllowing ways.

• enable communications between you and other users of the Cloudy Services.
• develop, operate, improve, deliver, maintain, and protect our products and services.
• send you technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages.
• monitor and analyze trends and usage.
• personalize our services by, among other things, suggesting pet care service providers, profile information, helping users find each other, affiliate and third-party apps and services, or customizing the content we show you, including ads.
• provide and improve our advertising services, ad targeting, and ad measurement, including through the use of your precise location information (again, if you’ve given us permission to collect that information), both on and off our services.
• enhance the safety and security of our products and services.
• verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
• use information we’ve collected from cookies and other technology to enhance our services and your experience with them.
• enforce, investigate, and report conduct violating our Terms of Service and other usage policies, respond to requests from law enforcement, and comply with legal requirements.

We are the sole owners of the information collected. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via app, email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to provide services Cloudy offers through its app and web sites, and respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to answer a question, ship an order, etc. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about new services or changes to this privacy policy.

How We Share Information

We may share information about you in the following ways:

• With other Cloudy users. We may share the following information with other Cloudy users with your permission:
  • information about you, such as your username, name, phone number, and your address.
  • information about how you have interacted with our services, such as your public review ratings and comments provided through the Cloudy services.
  • content you post or send. How widely your content is shared depends on the type of service you are using.
• With all Cloudy users, our business partners, and the general public. We may share the following information with all Cloudy users as well as with our business partners and the general public:
  • public information like your name, username, profile pictures
  • public content like your availability as a pet sitter, in which postal code you live, what pet care services you provide. This content may be viewed, used, and shared by the public at large both on and off our services, including through search results, on websites, in apps, and in online and offline broadcasts.
• With our affiliates. We may share information with entities within the AZ Global LLC family of companies.
• With third parties. We may share information about you with service providers who perform services on our behalf, including to measure and optimize the performance of ads and deliver more relevant ads, including on third-party websites and apps. Learn more here.

  • We may share information about you, such as device and usage information, to help us and others prevent fraud.
  • We may share information about you for legal, safety, and security reasons. We may share information about you if we reasonably believe that disclosing the information is needed to:
    • comply with any valid legal process, governmental request, or applicable law, rule, or regulation.
    • investigate, remedy, or enforce potential Terms of Service and Community Guidelines violations.
    • protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
    • detect and resolve any fraud or security concerns.
  • We may share information about you as part of a merger or acquisition. If AZ Global LLC gets involved in a merger, asset sale, financing, liquidation or bankruptcy, or acquisition of all or some portion of our business to another company, we may share your information with that company before and after the transaction closes.
• Non-personal information. We may also share with third parties that provide services to us or perform business purposes for us aggregated, non-personally identifiable, or de-identified information.

Your Control Over Information

• See what data we have about you, if any.
• Change/correct any data we have about you.
• Have us delete any data we have about you.
• Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via Cloudy app or website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Your Choices

• Emails. You may choose whether you wish to receive marketing emails from Cloudy by updating your “Notifications” preferences under “Account Settings” in your online Cloudy profile or through our mobile application. If you receive marketing emails and you wish to opt-out, you may also do so by clicking “Unsubscribe” in those emails. If you opt out of receiving marketing emails, we may still send you Service-related emails, such as those about your account or your ongoing business relationship with us.
• Mobile Push Notifications/Alerts. We may send push notifications or alerts to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.
• Text Messages. With your consent as required by applicable law, we may send marketing and/or service-related text messages to your mobile device. You may opt out of receiving these messages by following the prompt in an individual message or updating your “Notifications” preferences under “Account Settings” in your online Cloudy profile or through our mobile application. However, if you are a Service Provider in the U.S. or Canada, certain Pet Care Services that you provide (as detailed in the Cloudy Service) may require you to receive service-related messages. If you do not want to receive these service-related text messages, then in addition to adjusting your Notifications preferences, you must withdraw from providing such Pet Care Services.

Updates

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page. If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact us immediately via email.

The Cloudy app and websites may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
